What is a typical Sunday schedule?
Sunday morning: The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at 8:00am in the chapel without music, and at 10:30am in the church with a full choir and livestreamed online.
After the 10:30 service, all are welcome to join us in the Blue Room for our Coffee Hour with hot & cold beverages and light snacks. Follow your nose, the stream of fellow parishioners, or ask an usher where to go.
Typically on Sunday, an adult education activity takes place. See our Christian Education page for more info.
During the school year, we provide childcare for kids from infants through age 8 during the 10:30am service. Our childcare provider assists children in use of age-appropriate Bible-related lessons, crafts and other activities.
What are services like?
We celebrate Eucharist using Rite II in the Book of Common Prayer 1979 (red cover) with congregational singing from the Hymnal 1982 (blue cover). Our service bulletin provides instructions on when to stand, sit, or kneel, as you are able, and where to speak or sing along.
How long are the services?
The 8:00am service is approximately 45 minutes, and the 10:30am service is typically about an hour and a half.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable! Our parishioners range from shorts and jeans to suits and dresses. We are glad just to have you with us.
Can I (or my kids) take communion?
The altar is God’s table. We welcome all to come forward during communion if you would like. If you have been baptized in any Christian faith, you may make an altar with your hands to receive the bread and either pass on or sip from the chalice. Gluten free wafers are available on request. If you have not received the sacrament of baptism, you may cross your hands over your chest to receive a blessing.
